Unisys Announces New Senior Leadership in Asia-Pacific to Focus on Increased Demand for Industry Solutions
SYDNEY, 20 May, 2008 – Unisys has named three individuals to lead the IT services organisation’s critical industry approach in financial services, public sector and commercial industries in Asia Pacific. Reporting to Andrew Barkla, VP & GM, Unisys Asia Pacific, the new business leaders will have responsibility for driving revenue and deeper relationships within targeted industry accounts across the Asia Pacific region.

Allen Koehn has been promoted to head the Unisys Public Sector business across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Sydney, he has responsibility for developing and leading the Unisys Public Sector practices in Asia-Pacific with specific focus on Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Koehn has been promoted to this position after leading the Australia and New Zealand Public Sector practice for two and a half years. He has more than 25 years of experience specialising in large scale systems integration and business process improvement consulting. He was previously based in the United States where he managed the company’s engagements with the federal departments of Justice and Courts. Prior to joining Unisys he worked for Deloitte Consulting. He began his career with Sperry Corporation. Koehn has a degree in computer science and a degree in psychology from Columbia Union College in Maryland, USA.
Suzanne Carter has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Industries, Unisys Asia Pacific based in Sydney, Australia. In this role Carter takes on responsibility for developing and leading the Unisys Transportation, Communication and Consumer and Industrial Products practices in Asia Pacific.
Unisys Transportation provides expertise in business operations, passenger and security services to airlines, airports, freight, port and railway organisations. The Consumer and Industrial Products practices include services and systems that streamline supply chains and demand planning processes for food and beverage, personal care and household, alcohol and tobacco, resources and automotive companies. Unisys Communication provides the technology, platforms, systems and consulting services required to compete in the reinvented and converged communications industry with a focus on revenue generating subscriber services that build customer loyalty.
Carter joined Unisys in April 2007 as Vice President Sales, Commercial Industries for Asia Pacific. With more than 20 years experience in the IT industry gained in delivery, sales and general management roles with Digital, CSC and most recently Fujitsu, Carter brings a balance of industry experience, sales and business management to the role.
Reuben Khoo continues in his role to lead Unisys Financial Services business across Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Khoo has overall responsibility for growing the profitably of the Unisys Financial Services practice in Asia Pacific. Unisys Financial services offers clients solutions for secure business operations by providing consulting, applications management, outsourcing and system integration to banking, insurance and high volume, transaction-based businesses. Unisys Financial Services employs nearly 2,500 people across 12 Asia Pacific countries and is a recognised leader in channel integration, core banking and business process outsourcing.
Prior to joining Unisys in October 2005, Khoo worked for Hewlett Packard (HP), where he was Managing Principal and Director of the Financial Services Group for Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to HP, Khoo was Managing Partner for Anderson Business Consulting’s Financial Services practice and part of its ASEAN management leadership committee of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Previously, he built IBM’s financial services consulting business in Singapore, and then led the overall consulting practice in Southeast Asia. He began his career in consulting with Arthur Andersen (now known as Accenture) in the United States and later in Singapore. Khoo has a degree in Business Administration & Computer Science and an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin, USA.
